2nd Annual Hot Times Kate Schulte Tribute

2013’s Tribute featured artist-in-residence emeritus Kidd Jordan and his amazing trumpet playing son, Marlon, in two performances with The Jazz Poetry Ensemble and a workshop at Capital University. This Tribute was a celebration of family, especially the Jordan family’s connections through Columbus. After this program, we all felt like a new extended family.

On Thursday, September 5, Kidd, Marlon, and the Jazz Poetry Ensemble (Roger Hines, Roger Myers, Brett Burleson, and Michael Vander Does) performed at Dick’s Den.

The week was capped by the free public performance at the Hot Times Festival on Saturday.
